FC PESCARII's Ciprian Baldazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Ispas in the 7th minute of play. Eric Ştoia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Bala, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Ciorobereni CS defense, Gelu Bala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Ştoia. The Ciorobereni CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Ştoia should have stopped the shot. Cătălin Joldea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantin Baldovin kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Sever Ispas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ionel Ghețea struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ciprian Baldazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciorobereni CS. Ciprian Baldazar came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciorobereni CS's Ionel Ghețea. But to his dismay, Ionel Ghețea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cătălin Joldea in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Ştoia saved Ciorobereni CS from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sever Ispas to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC PESCARII booed when Ciorobereni CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Nedelciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gelu Bala in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Ştoia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the game, Cătălin Joldea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Cătălin Joldea sped through Ciorobereni CS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eric Ştoia. In the 70th minute of the match, Cătălin Joldea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eric Ştoia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eric Ştoia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cătălin Joldea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 70 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iulian Teodoroiu during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
