Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brașov's Cornel Elenescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Cornel Elenescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragheasa's Mugur Burdea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Tudose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mugur Burdea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Mihai Gherguț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brașov's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihai Gherguț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Burdea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihai Gherguț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mugur Burdea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugur Burdea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornel Elenescu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Mugur Burdea didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brașov's Cornel Elenescu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Elenescu in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugur Burdea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cornel Elenescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mugur Burdea was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Damian Tudose ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Burdea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Tudose in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Burdea saved Dragheasa from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Elenescu in the 26th minute of play forced Dragheasa's goalkeeper Mugur Burdea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornel Elenescu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Burdea saved Dragheasa from getting behind. After some careless play in the Dragheasa defense, Cornel Elenescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mugur Burdea. The Dragheasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mugur Burdea should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Cornel Elenescu made a precise shot to the right of Mugur Burdea. Dragheasa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The audience was convinced that Cornel Elenescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mugur Burdea was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Mihai Gherguț put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Mugur Burdea. 42 minutes into the game, Brașov's Mihai Gherguț nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mugur Burdea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Mugur Burdea came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Brașov's Cornel Elenescu. But to his dismay, Cornel Elenescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mihai Gherguț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dragheasa's Valeriu Dragomiroiu got a free kick in the 60th minute. Brașov's Mihai Gherguț got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Brașov's Cornel Elenescu in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragheasa's goalie prevented a goal. Claudiu Muncelean hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Cornel Elenescu put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Mugur Burdea. Claudiu Muncelean kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Brașov's Cornel Elenescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mugur Burdea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. In the 87thth minute of the game Cornel Elenescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragheasa's Mugur Burdea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. This resulted in a 0-13 score and a disappointed Mugur Burdea as he didn't even see the shot coming. Brașov played a much better game than Dragheasa and deserved their victory. The Dragheasa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
