Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) Dunarea CS's Mugurel Mercescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Şerbănescu in the 3rd minute of play. Fabio Cera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Mercescu having to interfere. Valter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Zorlescu in the 6th minute of the match. Mugurel Mercescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Şerbănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dunarea CS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egil Zander was slow to take the kick. During this time Lucas FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Egil Zander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dunarea CS's Mugurel Mercescu did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Şerbănescu in the 12th minute of play forced Dunarea CS's goalkeeper Mugurel Mercescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas FC's Valter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Zorlescu in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Fabio Cera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valter Zenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Zorlescu in the 17th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Dunarea CS's Valter Zenga threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vlad Gafița, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silviu Vizitiu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lucas FC's Valter Zenga got control of the ball when Vlad Gafița tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Dunarea CS's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Cera came free, but Mugurel Mercescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Arghir in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugurel Mercescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Dunarea CS's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Cera came free, but Mugurel Mercescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Arghir in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugurel Mercescu saved Dunarea CS from getting behind. Mugurel Mercescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Cera in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Lucas FC's Fabio Cera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mugurel Mercescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dunarea CS's Mugurel Mercescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Cera in the 40th minute of play. Mugurel Mercescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Şerbănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Lucas FC booed when Dunarea CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Calciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Emanuel Zorlescu made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Dunarea CS's Emanuel Zorlescu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valter Zenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gică Şerbănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lucas FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Egil Zander hit a great ball. Emanuel Zorlescu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Valter Zenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunarea CS. Valter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Calciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nichifor Dominte charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Augustin Mirciu's late challenge caught a Lucas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Mirciu helped the player get up and apologised. Augustin Mirciu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dunarea CS's Mugurel Mercescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Dunarea CS from getting a goal against them. Edgar Arghir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mugurel Mercescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Arghir slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 79th minute. Egil Zander hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Horaţiu Hristea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Lucas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Zorlescu came free, but Valter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
