Spectators: 7360 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Constantin Lupașcu made the kick off and thus started the match. Gelu Iovan hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match, Constantin Lupașcu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Codruț Balaban saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Constantin Lupașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Balaban having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costel Honcioiu got free with Codruț Balaban in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Acatincăi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costică Anghel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vali Acatincăi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Constantin Lupașcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vali Acatincăi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octavian Amarandei might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costică Anghel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavian Amarandei ran back to his position shaking his head. Codruț Balaban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Honcioiu went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Acatincăi in the 37th minute of play forced Bikszad's goalkeeper Costică Anghel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Honcioiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vali Acatincăi made a kick off. Oboroceni's Mugurel Brânzaș got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Bikszad's Costică Anghel got control of the ball when Octavian Amarandei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costel Honcioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Codruț Balaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantin Lupașcu took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Balaban. Codruț Balaban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 77 minutes into the match, Oboroceni's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Lupașcu came free, but Codruț Balaban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavian Amarandei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costică Anghel having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vali Acatincăi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oboroceni's supporters rose to their feet, but Vali Acatincăi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Anghel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd match minute, Bikszad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Moșneanu to maneuver through the defense. When Octavian Amarandei came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Oboroceni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavian Amarandei couldn't finish the play. Costică Anghel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Acatincăi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bikszad fans cheered their team off the field, for while Oboroceni had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
