Iurie Negrescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Iurie Negrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Östensson having to interfere. Firefighter Jr BT's August Östensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Paraschivescu in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Firefighter Jr BT's zone, Adrian Paraschivescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Östensson came out of the goal and Adrian Paraschivescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Firefighter Jr BT's Alin Fenici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Strugure made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alin Fenici got free with Ivan Strugure in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 played minutes Firefighter Jr BT got a freekick which was hit by Alin Fenici. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Petru Bitănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firefighter Jr BT's supporters rose to their feet, but Petru Bitănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Strugure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Ivan Strugure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alin Fenici. August Östensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Paraschivescu in the 44th minute of the match.
