Spectators: 7825 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantin Lupașcu took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Brașov's Cornel Elenescu in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bikszad's goalie prevented a goal. Cornel Elenescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Costică Anghel 5 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Lupașcu during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bikszad booed when Brașov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Scutaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Constantin Lupașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Savin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mihai Gherguț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Tudoses short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Costică Anghel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bikszad's Costică Anghel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Elenescu in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Costel Honcioiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bikszad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brașov the free kick. The supporters of Brașov booed when Bikszad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Honcioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Gelu Iovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Costică Anghel managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Brașov's Damian Tudose fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Brașov booed when Bikszad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Horea didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornel Elenescu to make the kick off. Costică Anghel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brașov's Cornel Elenescu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 55th match minute, Brașov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicu Plopșor to maneuver through the defense. Costică Anghel came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Brașov's Cornel Elenescu. But to his dismay, Cornel Elenescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cornel Elenescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brașov's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Elenescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Anghel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Cornel Elenescu notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Bikszad's Costică Anghel. Costică Anghel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dan Savin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Lupașcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornel Elenescu took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costică Anghel. Costică Anghel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 81st minute, Radu Potoroacă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Costel Honcioiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bikszad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costel Honcioiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Cornel Elenescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costică Anghel was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Elenescu in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costică Anghel prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
