Luca Buricea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Balaban having to interfere. Eric Pricop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Acatincăi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Armanca during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Ostroveni getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Moise Armanca hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, FC Ostroveni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panait Ipătescu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Acatincăi in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Pricop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vali Acatincăi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Octavian Amarandei struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Eric Pricop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oboroceni. After a defensive mix-up in Oboroceni's zone, Luca Buricea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codruț Balaban came out of the goal and Luca Buricea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valer Mărăscu hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Traian Cotuțiu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Oboroceni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traian Cotuțiu couldn't finish the play. Oboroceni's Codruț Balaban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Enceanu in the 83rd minute of play. Adrian Hanganu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Codruț Balaban. Oboroceni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eric Pricop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Acatincăi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vali Acatincăi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute of the match, Octavian Amarandei got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eric Pricop was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oboroceni played a much better game than FC Ostroveni and deserved their victory. The FC Ostroveni players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
