Spectators: 7824 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ionel Alupoaie started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornel Elenescu in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugur Basarab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Mihai Gherguț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Fc Forex's goalkeeper Mugur Basarab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Tudose. Mihai Gherguț's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugur Basarab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. A hard shot 17 in the game by Mihai Gherguț from a close distance when the talented Mugur Basarab managed to make a qualified save. Fc Forex's players were relieved. Damian Tudose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Basarab having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Cornel Elenescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mugur Basarab. Cornel Elenescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Mugur Basarab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aron Macri fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Forex's protests and gave Aron Macri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Brașov booed when Fc Forex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Macri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihai Gherguț's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Mugur Basarab skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Gherguț got free with Mugur Basarab in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mugur Basarab didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Mihai Gherguț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Tudose's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Mugur Basarab skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 45 minutes into the match, Fc Forex's goalkeeper Mugur Basarab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornel Elenescu. After 46 minutes, Olimpiu Jecu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Forex and the Brașov players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Fc Forex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Jecu to maneuver through the defense. Șerban Angelescu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Cornel Elenescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mugur Basarab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cornel Elenescu was the one to do the kick off. Cornel Elenescu took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mugur Basarab. Mugur Basarab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 61 minutes into the match, Damian Tudose had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugur Basarab. Fc Forex's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Tudose was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 64thth minute of the game Cornel Elenescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Forex's Mugur Basarab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 minutes, Cornel Elenescu made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fc Forex's Mugur Basarab tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Fc Forex's Vali Cunea got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mugur Basarab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Gherguț in the 71st minute of play. Damian Tudose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mugur Basarab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Brașov fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Brașov's Cornel Elenescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mihai Gherguț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Fc Forex's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Elenescu came free, but Mugur Basarab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Macri was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 97 played minutes Fc Forex got a freekick which was hit by Aron Macri. When Brașov's Cornel Elenescu in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Forex's goalie prevented a goal. Brașov walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
