Spectators: 7714 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luca Buricea made the kick off which started today's match. Lucas FC's Valter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Enceanu in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, FC Ostroveni's Ilie Enceanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valter Zenga. Valter Zenga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A hard shot 12 in the game by Luca Buricea from a close distance when the talented Valter Zenga managed to make a qualified save. Lucas FC's players were relieved. Șerban Şteţ kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Panait Ipătescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Valter Zenga made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Panait Ipătescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lucas FC's Valter Zenga. Valter Zenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eric Pricop came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Lucas FC's Gică Şerbănescu. But to his dismay, Gică Şerbănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Luca Buricea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Pricop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Arghir, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Luca Buricea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Enceanu in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Mihai Paulică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Edgar Arghir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Luca Buricea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Enceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valter Zenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Ostroveni's Eric Pricop got control of the ball when Edgar Arghir tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Lucas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Buricea came free, but Valter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilie Enceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Valter Zenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Buricea in the 69th minute of play forced Lucas FC's goalkeeper Valter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, FC Ostroveni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Sticlaru to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Buricea in the 80th minute of play forced Lucas FC's goalkeeper Valter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Cera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Arghir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eric Pricop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luca Buricea fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ostroveni's protests and gave Luca Buricea a yellow card for diving instead. Luca Buricea hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Luca Buricea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Zenga having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Panait Ipătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ostroveni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panait Ipătescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC Ostroveni support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
