Costică Anghel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Enceanu in the 9th minute of play. Luca Buricea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Buricea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costică Anghel having to make a save. Luca Buricea scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costică Anghel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Luca Buricea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Anghel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Buricea struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Costică Anghel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ostroveni. The FC Ostroveni fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when FC Ostroveni's Luca Buricea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Bikszad's zone, Ilie Enceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costică Anghel came out of the goal and Ilie Enceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilie Enceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Anghel having to interfere. Costică Anghel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Buricea went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half FC Ostroveni were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Constantin Lupașcu made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, FC Ostroveni's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Lupașcu came free, but Eric Pricop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Ostroveni getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Moise Armanca hit a great ball. Luca Buricea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Ostroveni booed when Bikszad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Baniciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Luca Buricea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ostroveni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Costică Anghel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Stelian Sticlaru. Bikszad were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after FC Ostroveni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Octavian Dragota took the corner. After 73 played minutes Bikszad got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Iovan. Eric Pricop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Lupașcu in the 77th minute of the match. Eusebiu Beraru charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebiu Beraru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusebiu Beraru kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Bikszad got a freekick which was hit by Costel Honcioiu. 84 minutes into the match, Costel Honcioiu notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of FC Ostroveni's Eric Pricop. Eric Pricop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
