Cst's Niculae Ecobici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Duca in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Icing's Eric Bebeșel got control of the ball when Matei Joldea tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 played minutes Nistor Ene rounded Icing's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Doru Duca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icing's supporters rose to their feet, but Doru Duca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Ecobici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mihnea Bratoloveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Brădean in the 23rd minute of play forced Cst's goalkeeper Niculae Ecobici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codruț Mitescu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cst getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nicu Minulescu hit a great ball. Calistrat Cârstoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Ecobici having to interfere. Eric Bebeșel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Joldea in the 33rd minute. Remus Apolzan charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remus Apolzan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Icing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Apolzan to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Cst's Codruț Mitescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Matei Joldea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Bebeșel. Icing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matei Joldea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Icing's Eric Bebeșel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Icing from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Brădean made a kick off. Eric Bebeșel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Joldea, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Eric Bebeșel came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Cst's Matei Joldea. But to his dismay, Matei Joldea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 57th minute Mihnea Bratoloveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Ecobici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Iustin Mârza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cst's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icing the free kick. 59 minutes into the game, one of Cst:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Icing's Basarab Militaru got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Nicu Minulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eric Bebeșel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Mihnea Bratoloveanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Ecobici was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Eric Bebeșel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Minulescu in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Matei Joldea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Eric Bebeșel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicu Minulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matei Joldea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Bebeșel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Minulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Ivan Brădean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Ecobici was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Cst's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
