After some careless play in the Barkani defense, Claudiu Alucusan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Răducu. The Barkani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Răducu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Tripon in the 9th minute of play forced Barkani's goalkeeper Filip Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manole Nedelcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Cristian in the 10th minute of the match. Iustin Cândroveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Alucusan in the 16th minute of play forced Barkani's goalkeeper Filip Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigore Verzeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petrisul's Aurel Tripon managed to work through Barkani's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aurel Tripon dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Aurel Tripon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Filip Răducu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filip Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Tripon, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Filip Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Tripon in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Aurel Tripon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barkani's Filip Răducu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Barkani's Maxim Bivolaru got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Claudiu Alucusan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. When Nicu Cârlan came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Petrisul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Cârlan couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Claudiu Alucusan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Barkani's Filip Răducu. Filip Răducu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Cristian to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Barkani's Liviu Cristian got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barkani's goalkeeper Filip Răducu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Barkani booed when Petrisul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Cârlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Aurel Tripon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Răducu. Barkani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Tripon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Iustin Cândroveanu charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustin Cândroveanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Petrisul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Cândroveanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Petrisul's Claudiu Alucusan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Liviu Cristian came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Barkani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Cristian couldn't finish the play.
