Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ion Postelnicu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Emanuel Cernescu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Vali Nicolae charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vali Nicolae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute Remus Vulcănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Peptan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Pintea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vlad Cazimir in the 10th minute. Costel Peptan came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Universitatea Craiova's Adrian Ailenei. But to his dismay, Adrian Ailenei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute Luca Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Peptan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Luca Ianculescu made a precise shot to the right of Costel Peptan. Oaia cu Soric's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 38 played minutes FC Universitatea Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Zgondea. In the 41st minute Adrian Ailenei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Peptan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vali Nicolae got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Luca Ianculescu sped through Oaia cu Soric's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Costel Peptan. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luca Ianculescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Pânzariu got free with Costel Peptan in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costel Peptan came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Universitatea Craiova's Adrian Ailenei. But to his dismay, Adrian Ailenei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Leonard Coroian kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Luca Ianculescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Costel Peptan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Oaia cu Soric's zone, Damian Pânzariu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costel Peptan came out of the goal and Damian Pânzariu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Universitatea Craiova getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mihai Zgondea hit a great ball. Damian Pânzariu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. FC Universitatea Craiova's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Ianculescu in the 71st minute of play forced Oaia cu Soric's goalkeeper Costel Peptan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oaia cu Soric's Costel Peptan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Oaia cu Soric from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Vulcănescu in the 74th minute of play forced Oaia cu Soric's goalkeeper Costel Peptan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Vlad Cazimir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oaia cu Soric's supporters rose to their feet, but Vlad Cazimir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Pintea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute of the match, Luca Ianculescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Costel Peptan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute, Mihai Zgondea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Universitatea Craiova's goalkeeper Paul Pintea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Universitatea Craiova's Paul Pintea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Cazimir in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Ion Postelnicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Pintea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Peptan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Ailenei in the 94th minute of play. FC Universitatea Craiova's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
