Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Octav Iorgulescu got the match started through his kick off. Eusebiu Mareș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Albuț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucian Vrejiu got free with Eusebiu Mareș in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Anton Zâncă put in a rough tackle. Anton Zâncă hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Cezar Zdrenghea, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 12th minute Pompiliu Albuț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Mareș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Nastase's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Şerbănoiu came free, but Eusebiu Mareș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nastase's Eusebiu Mareș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Nastase from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FCM BACAU booed when Nastase was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Nicorici didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Cezar Zdrenghea from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Eusebiu Mareș's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nastase's Eusebiu Mareș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Şerbănoiu in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Lucian Vrejiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebiu Mareș was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Nastase's goalkeeper Eusebiu Mareș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pompiliu Albuț. In the 33rd minute of the match, Iordache Şerbănoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusebiu Mareș saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as FCM BACAU's Iordache Şerbănoiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusebiu Mareș. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Eusebiu Mareș made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Lucian Vrejiu sent off a good shot on target. After 40 played minutes FCM BACAU got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Albuț. 45 minutes into the match, Pompiliu Albuț notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Nastase's Eusebiu Mareș. Eusebiu Mareș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FCM BACAU's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Remus Vlădoiu 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Eusebiu Mareș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Şerbănoiu in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Gabriel Cosâmbescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Mareș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Nastase's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Şerbănoiu came free, but Eusebiu Mareș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Nastase and the FCM BACAU players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Nastase was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Vulpe to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes FCM BACAU got a freekick which was hit by Dan Huțanu. Eusebiu Mareș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Cosâmbescu in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Daniel Vulpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iordache Şerbănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Nastase's Eugen Bârlea got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Cosâmbescu in the 82nd minute of play forced Nastase's goalkeeper Eusebiu Mareș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisc Braica made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Octav Iorgulescu sent off a good shot on target. After 86 minutes of play, FCM BACAU's Lucian Vrejiu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebiu Mareș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eusebiu Mareș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Cosâmbescu in the 89th minute of play. Eusebiu Mareș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Cosâmbescu went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When Lucian Vrejiu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCM BACAU's protests and gave Lucian Vrejiu a yellow card for diving instead. Lucian Vrejiu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
