Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niculae Ecobici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Mutu in the 10th minute of play. Niculae Ecobici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Tripon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustin Cândroveanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Ecobici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Cst's Matei Joldea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manole Nedelcea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Claudiu Alucusan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Cst's Nistor Ene nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manole Nedelcea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aurel Tripon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Niculae Ecobici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Matei Joldea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Nedelcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Petrisul got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Unchiaşu. After 41 played minutes Cst got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Mârza. In the 44th minute of the match Petrisul got a corner. Cst's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aurel Tripon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Manole Nedelcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Oros in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Alucusan was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Iustin Cândroveanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurel Tripon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matei Joldea came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manole Nedelcea could save by the left post. After having played for 59 minutes, Nicu Cârlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petrisul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicu Cârlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes of play, Petrisul's Aurel Tripon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Ecobici was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cst's Niculae Ecobici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Cârlan in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Petrisul getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Iustin Cândroveanu hit a great ball. Manole Nedelcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Ene in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute Claudiu Alucusan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Ecobici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Sebastian Oros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cst and the Petrisul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Cst got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Oros. After a rather tough play, Cst's Cezar Muscaș got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Cst players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Petrisul from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
