Emanuel Chiose came out of the goal and Aurel Tripon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Iustin Cândroveanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emanuel Chiose was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 minutes, Aurel Tripon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petrisul and the Bulaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manole Nedelcea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petruț Tătăruşanu in the 33rd minute. Aurel Tripon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aurel Tripon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Petrisul's Iustin Cândroveanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 88th minute, Nicu Cârlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurel Tripon got free with Emanuel Chiose in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bulaia's Emanuel Chiose proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Bulaia from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Bulaia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aurel Tripon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Aurel Tripon came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Petrisul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Tripon couldn't finish the play.
