Vlad Fânaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Cristi Avădanei managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Avantul Grindu's Liviu Gruescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Liviu Gruescu in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristi Avădanei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Avantul Grindu getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Liviu Gruescu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Maniu in the 19th minute of play forced Avantul Grindu's goalkeeper Vlad Fânaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Călin Boltașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute, Călin Boltașu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Phoenix Seini -MM-'s Radu Leucuța in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernest Maniu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Avantul Grindu's Irinel Cozac got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 61 played minutes Avantul Grindu got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Gruescu. In the 61st minute, Liviu Gruescu fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. If Liviu Gruescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Gagiu's late challenge caught a Avantul Grindu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Gagiu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Phoenix Seini -MM- getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gheorghe Gagiu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Boltașu in the 67th minute of play forced Phoenix Seini -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristi Avădanei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Lucian Peptan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Avădanei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irinel Cozac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cristi Avădanei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Călin Boltașu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Seini -MM-'s Cristi Avădanei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liviu Gruescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Avădanei having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Irinel Cozac notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Phoenix Seini -MM-'s Cristi Avădanei. Cristi Avădanei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Irinel Cozac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avantul Grindu's Vlad Fânaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Bădescu in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Avantul Grindu's Irinel Cozac got a free kick in the 85th minute. Gheorghe Gagiu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Phoenix Seini -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Gruescu came free, but Cristi Avădanei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristi Avădanei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Boltașu in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Liviu Gruescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristi Avădanei was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Călin Boltașu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Avantul Grindu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
