Mihai Voinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Gâțea having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiberiu Gâțea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes, Gigel Ignea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sopirlesti SC and the Delta Tulcea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Mihai Voinea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiberiu Gâțea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Tiberiu Gâțea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihai Voinea's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Sopirlesti SC's Ciprian Gâfu got a free kick in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Delta Tulcea's Corneliu Nae slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiberiu Gâțea. That made the score 2-4 after 86 minutes of play. Paul Feroiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cătălin Onea went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Cătălin Onea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Feroiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. If Cătălin Onea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Delta Tulcea players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sopirlesti SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
