Marius Bălașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurențiu Târban scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigore Furdui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Daniel Mihele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Grigore Furdui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Nichifor Chiru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Boteanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grigore Furdui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Boteanu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Manuel Boteanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus Țiu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Daniel Mihele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigore Furdui. FC MILITARI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Mihele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Moise Minteuan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Cinteză made a kick off. Juventus Țiu's Manuel Boteanu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 58th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Grigore Furdui came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus Țiu's Daniel Mihele. But to his dismay, Daniel Mihele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Grigore Furdui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Boteanu in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, FC MILITARI's Nichifor Chiru got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th match minute, FC MILITARI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Jupân to maneuver through the defense. When Paul Cinteză came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC MILITARI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Cinteză couldn't finish the play. The Juventus Țiu fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Juventus Țiu's Manuel Boteanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The FC MILITARI supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Juventus Țiu's performance. The match ended with a win for Juventus Țiu.
