In the 10th minute, Albert Dășanu made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Boerescu. Portaresti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Petru Creteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Horațiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Dășanu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Corneliu Boerescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demsus. The crowd rose to their feet as Demsus's Mihai Râznicu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Corneliu Boerescu. That made the score 0-3 after 53 minutes of play. Mihai Râznicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corneliu Boerescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihai Râznicu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 64 minutes, Eduard Elisei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portaresti FC and the Demsus players grew even worse after the yellow card.
