With an all-out effort, HAGİ CSM's Marcel Bilașco threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augustin Stănoiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, HAGİ CSM's Ferdinand Văduvescu got a free kick in the 5th minute. HAGİ CSM's Mugurel Mureșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Todoran in the 5th minute of play. Ioan Leluțiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marcel Bilașco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Virgil Davidescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HAGİ CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gottlob the free kick. Virgil Davidescu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Narcis Mardare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gottlob's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Mardare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mugurel Mureșan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narcis Mardare's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Narcis Mardare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Mureșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HAGİ CSM's Mugurel Mureșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Mardare in the 26th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, HAGİ CSM's Augustin Stănoiu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Bilașco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Augustin Stănoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Bilașco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandu Văduva lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Marcel Bilașco, was totally fooled by HAGİ CSM's Ferdinand Văduvescu, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Gottlob getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mihnea Şerbănescu hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The crowd rose to their feet as Mihnea Şerbănescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mugurel Mureșan. That made the score 2-1 in the 57 minute of play. In the 60th minute, Iustinian Izbașa made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Bilașco. Gottlob's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Marcel Bilașco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Stănoiu in the 66th minute of the match. Gottlob's Marcel Bilașco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Stănoiu in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narcis Mardare during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gottlob getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Narcis Mardare hit a great ball.
