Alsovroszi
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Denis Stanca took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emilian Hălmăgeanu made a great header on Polovragi's corner, it was just that Alsovroszi's Eduard Costescu managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 6th minute, Denis Stanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Alsovroszi's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Ionașcu came free, but Eduard Costescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alsovroszi's Eduard Costescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristi Comșa in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alin Andriescu during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alin Andriescu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Cristi Comșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polovragi's Cristi Comșa got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Mădălin Buznea made a precise shot to the right of Eduard Costescu. Alsovroszi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Eduard Costescu came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Polovragi's Mădălin Buznea. But to his dismay, Mădălin Buznea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Eduard Costescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Zgondea in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Polovragi's Mădălin Buznea made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduard Costescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Alsovroszi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Polovragi were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristi Comșa made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Alsovroszi got a freekick which was hit by Alin Andriescu. Emilian Hălmăgeanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eduard Costescu. Alsovroszi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Aurelian Ionașcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Cristi Comșa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alsovroszi's Eduard Costescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alsovroszi's goalkeeper Eduard Costescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduard Costescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Hurmuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mădălin Buznea took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduard Costescu. Eduard Costescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nechifor Bologa during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alsovroszi! If Aurelian Ionașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristi Comșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alsovroszi's zone, Aurelian Ionașcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Costescu came out of the goal and Aurelian Ionașcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
