The supporters of Suska booed when ACS Echipa Ursilor Brasov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Ştefănoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basarab Nuțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Frățilă in the 55th minute of the match. Cornel Mereacre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Cangeopol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th play minute Viorel Şerbănescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cornel Mereacre. 0-5. In the 81st minute, Niculae Şania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Suska getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Costin Baican hit a great ball. With a little luck, Suska's Cornel Mereacre got control of the ball when Niculae Şania tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Frățilă in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Nuțu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Dinu Brânzaș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suska's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Brânzaș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basarab Nuțu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Suska's goalkeeper Cornel Mereacre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciprian Epure. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Şerbănescu got free with Cornel Mereacre in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
