Valer Damian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Octavian Isăilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Radu Afloarei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pirciu and the F.C. MIROSLAVA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of F.C. MIROSLAVA booed when FC Pirciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Afloarei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manole Dindelegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Iorgovan in the 10th minute of play. Iulian Plăcintă kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Radu Afloarei hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Ion Popoacă fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pirciu's protests and gave Ion Popoacă a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C. MIROSLAVA booed when FC Pirciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Popoacă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavian Isăilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Damian in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Sergiu Dorian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C. MIROSLAVA's Ernest Ploieșteanu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Octavian Isăilă but with some difficulty. Manole Dindelegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Covrig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manole Dindelegan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vintilă Zegreanu went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ernest Ploieșteanu's late challenge caught a FC Pirciu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Ploieșteanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, F.C. MIROSLAVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Ploieșteanu to maneuver through the defense. FC Pirciu's Ion Popoacă got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 53 played minutes F.C. MIROSLAVA got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Bănățeanu. When Ion Popoacă was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Ion Popoacă hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of F.C. MIROSLAVA booed when FC Pirciu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Dorian didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. MIROSLAVA's Ernest Ploieșteanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Pirciu. After a rather tough play, F.C. MIROSLAVA's Codrin Muntian got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Valer Damian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sever Iorgovan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes FC Pirciu got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Covrig. 80 minutes into the match, F.C. MIROSLAVA's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Bobariu came free, but Manole Dindelegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C. MIROSLAVA's Iulian Plăcintă got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Zegreanu in the 82nd minute of play forced F.C. MIROSLAVA's goalkeeper Manole Dindelegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mumuleanu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Pirciu's Octavian Isăilă. Octavian Isăilă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sever Iorgovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 91 played minutes F.C. MIROSLAVA got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Achiriloaie. After 97 played minutes FC Pirciu got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Dorian. The FC Pirciu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
