An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Şania in the 14th minute of play forced FC Brink's goalkeeper Pompiliu Zmărăndescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basarab Nuțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Mumuleanu in the 15th minute of the match. FC Brink's Gheorghe Herea got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basarab Nuțu was a little too slow when Gheorghe Herea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gheorghe Herea in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Basarab Nuțu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 25 played minutes ACS Echipa Ursilor Brasov got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Lucan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciprian Epure in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pompiliu Zmărăndescu saved FC Brink from getting behind. Basarab Nuțu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Voinea in the 39th minute. Gheorghe Herea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Basarab Nuțu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciprian Epure to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Håkan Ivarsson during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute of the game Aristide Chesaru made a throw-in which Niculae Şania played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Herea in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Nuțu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st match minute, FC Brink was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Priest to maneuver through the defense. Gheorghe Herea might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basarab Nuțu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gheorghe Herea ran back to his position shaking his head. Călin Macrea kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. FC Brink's Aurelian Voinea got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viorel Şerbănescu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Basarab Nuțu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Herea's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If Aurelian Voinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Herea notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of ACS Echipa Ursilor Brasov's Basarab Nuțu. Basarab Nuțu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Brink walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
