Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Petrică Poplăcan kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Pierre Cantona in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Tudoran saved SC Ursul Brun from getting behind. Mihnea Apostu took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Tudoran. Valentin Tudoran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 8 played minutes SC Ursul Brun got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Poplăcan. 16 minutes into the match, SC Ursul Brun's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pierre Cantona came free, but Valentin Tudoran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Tudoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Apostu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelmiro Somarribas made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Alin Zgîrţa sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Apostu in the 24th minute of play forced SC Ursul Brun's goalkeeper Valentin Tudoran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Jean-Pierre Cantona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Tudoran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Fabian Bratiloveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The supporters of FC Flavia booed when SC Ursul Brun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Ologu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Tudoran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Cedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes of play, FC Flavia's Jean-Pierre Cantona made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Tudoran was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, SC Ursul Brun's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Apostu came free, but Valentin Tudoran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Tudoran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Cedro in the 48th minute of play.

A collision led to FC Flavia getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jean-Pierre Cantona hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, SC Ursul Brun's goalkeeper Valentin Tudoran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Pierre Cantona. In the 62nd minute, FC Flavia's Mihnea Apostu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Petrică Poplăcan struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gelmiro Somarribas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ursul Brun. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
