Spectators: 7442 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) FC Flavia's Jean-Pierre Cantona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucas Cedro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavian Blajovan came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Flavia's Jean-Pierre Cantona. But to his dismay, Jean-Pierre Cantona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. FC Flavia's Lucas Cedro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean-Pierre Cantona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 played minutes FC Flavia got a freekick which was hit by Emil Nițescu. In the 16th match minute, FC Flavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Ghiurutan to maneuver through the defense. Octavian Blajovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Cedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, one of Academia M.Balan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Pierre Cantona in the 22nd minute of play forced Academia M.Balan's goalkeeper Octavian Blajovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Jean-Pierre Cantona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Flavia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Mihnea Apostu scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Blajovan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gelmiro Somarribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Tăgorean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Lucas Cedro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Flavia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Jean-Pierre Cantona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Octavian Blajovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavian Blajovan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Cedro went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Lucas Cedro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Blajovan having to make a save. Octavian Blajovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pierre Cantona in the 45th minute of play. Lucian Nechifor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Gelmiro Somarribas made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustin Tăgorean made a kick off. Jean-Pierre Cantona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Blajovan having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Virgil Aluncai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia M.Balan and the FC Flavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Academia M.Balan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Aluncai to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Cedro scored 0-7 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Blajovan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Octavian Blajovan managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when FC Flavia's Jean-Pierre Cantona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jean-Pierre Cantona's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Octavian Blajovan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lucas Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Blajovan having to interfere. Gelmiro Somarribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Tăgorean in the 81st minute of play. If Jean-Pierre Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88th play minutes Jean-Pierre Cantona shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Octavian Blajovan and just under the crossbar into goal. Jean-Pierre Cantona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Blajovan having to interfere. FC Flavia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
