In the 9th minute of the game, Tudor Vorniceanu landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 19thth minute of the game Nichifor Crașovan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voetesti's Iustinian Penciulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Albert Dănănae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustinian Penciulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 29th minute, Gavril Arghiroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dumitru Păltineanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Marcu Tărbac made a huge save. A collision led to Voetesti getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Romeo Răcănel hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Albert Dănănae managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC TraLaLa's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Dănănae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustinian Penciulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iustinian Penciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Dănănae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nichifor Crașovan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iustinian Penciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Crașovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihăiţă Curtean charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihăiţă Curtean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Aron Bratoloveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costin Lesnea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcu Tărbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Nichifor Crașovan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC TraLaLa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Voetesti the free kick. After 92 played minutes FC TraLaLa got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Crașovan. Although Voetesti had been in control for most of the match, FC TraLaLa still came away with the win.
