Mihai Maftei kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigi Vătăşel during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iustin Cocoș took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horia Marinescu. Capotestii FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Poplăcan in the 13th minute of play forced Capotestii FC's goalkeeper Horia Marinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Garcon hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SC Ursul Brun defense, Damian Şoiman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Tudoran. The crowd rose to their feet as Capotestii FC's Vintilă Ciocan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Tudoran. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. Dumitru Bălășoius short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Valentin Tudoran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. SC Ursul Brun's Valentin Tudoran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SC Ursul Brun from getting a goal against them. Dumitru Bălășoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Petrică Poplăcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Marinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dumitru Bălășoiu got free with Valentin Tudoran in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrică Poplăcan was the one to do the kick off. Valentin Tudoran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Ciocan in the 90th minute of the match. SC Ursul Brun's Vasile Hreapcă suffered a sprained foot after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gigi Vătăşel was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Capotestii FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Gigi Vătăşel hit a great ball. Capotestii FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
