Moisés Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Valentin Tudoran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Tudoran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Gabirel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Petrică Poplăcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vasile Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Mihăiţă Ologu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, SC Ursul Brun's Iustin Cocoș broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Gabirel made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Alin Zgîrţa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasile Pavel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Mihăiţă Ologu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the SC Ursul Brun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihăiţă Ologu couldn't finish the play. Vasile Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Zgîrţa in the 66th minute of play. Mihăiţă Ologu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Pavel having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Ologu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of AC Maimutoii's Vasile Pavel. Vasile Pavel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in AC Maimutoii's zone, Petrică Poplăcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasile Pavel came out of the goal and Petrică Poplăcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Alin Zgîrţa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasile Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Paulinho Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the AC Maimutoii defense, Mihăiţă Ologu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vasile Pavel. The AC Maimutoii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vasile Pavel should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Maimutoii's goalkeeper Vasile Pavel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Petrică Poplăcan made a precise shot to the right of Vasile Pavel. AC Maimutoii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Petrică Poplăcan scored 7-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasile Pavel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AC Maimutoii's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
