Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Voetesti's Mihăiţă Curtean started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Mijlocul AC defense, Tudor Vorniceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Godeanu. The Mijlocul AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Godeanu should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Voetesti's Tudor Vorniceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Godeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 20 played minutes Mijlocul AC got a freekick which was hit by Manole Răducu. After a rather tough play, Mijlocul AC's Manole Răducu got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Tudor Vorniceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Godeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Manole Răducu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Curtean notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mijlocul AC's Alex Godeanu. Alex Godeanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th match minute, Mijlocul AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Chircu to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Păltineanu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Godeanu. Alex Godeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 46 minutes into the game, Mijlocul AC's Ovidiu Chircu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iustinian Penciulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidiu Chircu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Godeanu came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Voetesti's Dumitru Păltineanu. But to his dismay, Dumitru Păltineanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 59 minutes into the match, Mijlocul AC's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Curtean came free, but Alex Godeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Godeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Curtean in the 67th minute of play. Tudor Vorniceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Alex Godeanu made a huge save. Alex Godeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Păltineanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Mijlocul AC's Alex Godeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Mijlocul AC from getting a goal against them. Iustinian Penciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Mateescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Romeo Răcănel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Iustinian Penciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Chircu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dumitru Păltineanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Alex Godeanu made a huge save.
