The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corneliu Covaci to strike the kick off in the second half. Iordache Aldulea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxim Bornescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Iordache Aldulea slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 51st minute. Maxim Bornescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Aldulea in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, FC National's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Covaci came free, but Maxim Bornescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iordache Aldulea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Maxim Bornescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliodor Slătineanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, CF CHELSEA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Slătineanu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Radu Voinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF CHELSEA's Iordache Aldulea was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. CF CHELSEA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
