Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Steaua booed when Dos Hermanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Curăreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Armeanca hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Steaua's Gavril Stănilă got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Gavril Cara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicodim Orădan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Steaua's protests and gave Nicodim Orădan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dos Hermanas booed when Steaua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Orădan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Șerban Baran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
