After 3 minutes, Horia Cretan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steaua and the FC Ciupa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horia Cretan got his second yellow card in the match during the 9th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 11th minute, Dániel Ludas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ciupa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Dániel Ludas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Steaua defense, Dániel Ludas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Râznicu. The Steaua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Râznicu should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nicodim Orădan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodim Orădan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxim Zdrăilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gavril Stănilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Râznicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 柳远星, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Râznicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柳远星 in the 25th minute of play. Dániel Ludas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Râznicu having to interfere. If 柳远星 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, 柳远星 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 柳远星 was the one to do the kick off. FC Ciupa made a substitution. Ovidiu Tomoioagă replaced 柳远星. Dániel Ludas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Isac Râznicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isac Râznicu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidiu Tomoioagă went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Ovidiu Tomoioagă struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Isac Râznicu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ciupa. The audience was convinced that Ovidiu Tomoioagă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Râznicu was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Ovidiu Tomoioagă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Ovidiu Tomoioagă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Ciupa fully deserved thier win.
