Olimpiu Remus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Drâmbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Remus in the 12th minute of the match. Emanuel Drâmbă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Remus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Ioviță's late challenge caught a RapidBarcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Ioviță helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute Olimpiu Remus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Drâmbă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eugen Săndoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robert Ioviță was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Caraseu's Robert Ioviță got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The RapidBarcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Caraseu's Emanuel Drâmbă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Remus in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RapidBarcelona's Olimpiu Remus got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Manole Oțeteleșanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraseu's supporters rose to their feet, but Manole Oțeteleșanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Lucan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 minutes of play, Caraseu's Manole Oțeteleșanu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caraseu's goalkeeper Emanuel Drâmbă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Virgil Sorin fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caraseu's protests and gave Virgil Sorin a yellow card for diving instead. Virgil Sorin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Olimpiu Remus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Narcis Lucan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Focșa in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Caraseu's Emanuel Drâmbă got control of the ball when Olimpiu Remus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Narcis Lucan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Oțeteleșanu in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Caraseu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Godeanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caraseu's goalkeeper Emanuel Drâmbă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of RapidBarcelona were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Caraseu side.
