Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) Mihai Semeghin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Mihai Semeghin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Găvănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Semeghin in the 12th minute of play. Victor Găvănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Semeghin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Adam Vasilian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Găvănescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mihai Semeghin took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Găvănescu. Victor Găvănescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihai Semeghin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Găvănescu saved Sulpusiu from getting behind. Mihai Semeghin struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Victor Găvănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dos Hermanas. Victor Găvănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Semeghin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eliodor Luican hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The Dos Hermanas fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Dos Hermanas's Mihai Semeghin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dos Hermanas's Filip Tirulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Marincean to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sulpusiu's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Curăreanu came free, but Victor Găvănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Sulpusiu's goalkeeper Victor Găvănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Semeghin. After having played for 64 minutes, Mihai Semeghin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dos Hermanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Semeghin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihai Semeghin had several of the Sulpusiu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Victor Găvănescu as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 81st minute, Virgil Curăreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihai Semeghin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Victor Găvănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Virgil Curăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihai Semeghin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Găvănescu having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Virgil Curăreanu made a precise shot to the right of Victor Găvănescu. Sulpusiu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Sulpusiu defense, Leonard Răuţă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Găvănescu. The Sulpusiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Găvănescu should have stopped the shot.
