An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Remus in the 9th minute of play forced FC Ciupa's goalkeeper Maxim Zdrăilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RapidBarcelona's Olimpiu Remus got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Leonce Abt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dániel Ludas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Narcis Lucan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Eric Dascălu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RapidBarcelona and the FC Ciupa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, RapidBarcelona's Eric Dascălu got a free kick in the 17th minute. 柳远星 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Narcis Lucan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narcis Lucan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxim Zdrăilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Remus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute 柳远星 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Lucan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olimpiu Remus in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxim Zdrăilă saved FC Ciupa from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Sergiu Stănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olimpiu Remus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narcis Lucan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柳远星 in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, RapidBarcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Terzian to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th match minute, RapidBarcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Dascălu to maneuver through the defense. FC Ciupa's Eduard Stegaru was substituted for Marius Simionaş. Eric Dascălu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in RapidBarcelona's zone, Ovidiu Tomoioagă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Lucan came out of the goal and Ovidiu Tomoioagă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidiu Tomoioagă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Lucan having to interfere. Narcis Lucan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Tomoioagă in the 80th minute of play. If Dániel Ludas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, RapidBarcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Leonce Abt came free, but Narcis Lucan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Olimpiu Remus managed to get in a good position for a shot. RapidBarcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Remus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxim Zdrăilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ciupa's zone, Olimpiu Remus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxim Zdrăilă came out of the goal and Olimpiu Remus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narcis Lucan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dániel Ludas in the 93rd minute of the match. FC Ciupa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
