Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Cristi Corbeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Oblemenco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jidvei Regal getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Emanuel Teofil hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Jidvei Regal's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Grindeanu came free, but Mădălin Oblemenco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristi Corbeanu came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Carpeni Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristi Corbeanu couldn't finish the play. Eduard Ciucă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Bogrea having to interfere. If Petrică Grindeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Jidvei Regal's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Corbeanu came free, but Mădălin Oblemenco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Oblemenco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Corbeanu in the 32nd minute of the match. Stelian Costeiantu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petrică Grindeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mădălin Oblemenco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mădălin Oblemenco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Corbeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carpeni Athletic's zone, Stelian Costeiantu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horaţiu Bogrea came out of the goal and Stelian Costeiantu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristi Corbeanu to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Cristi Corbeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpeni Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristi Corbeanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Stelian Costeiantu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Horaţiu Bogrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horaţiu Bogrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Ciucă, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Cristi Corbeanu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Petrică Grindeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mădălin Oblemenco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Carpeni Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Cândreanu. Manuel Zdrenţu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Horaţiu Bogrea. Carpeni Athletic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Eduard Ciucă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horaţiu Bogrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Stelian Costeiantu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Ciucă took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Bogrea. Horaţiu Bogrea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jidvei Regal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carpeni Athletic for a fine match.
