Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Avram Dănănae took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rapid București's Damian Zafiu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Rapid București's Avram Dănănae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gică Orghidan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Avram Dănănae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Orghidan having to interfere. If Gigi Vermeşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12thth minute of the game Avram Dănănae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hagiomer's Gică Orghidan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Avram Dănănae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Avram Dănănae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gică Orghidan was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Hagiomer's Gică Orghidan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Dănănae in the 19th minute of play. The corner led to Rapid București's Stelian Tutuianu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Dănănae in the 28th minute of play forced Hagiomer's goalkeeper Gică Orghidan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Manole Sticlaru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bobby Ares skillfully saved the ball. After 41 minutes, Manuel Magherescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hagiomer and the Rapid București players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marius Drăghici's late challenge caught a Rapid București's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gică Orghidan came out of the goal and Iosif Pantelimon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
