Damian Zafiu's late challenge caught a Dos Hermanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Zafiu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dos Hermanas booed when Rapid București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Zafiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vali Cercelescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. Avram Dănănae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Baran was a little too slow when Damian Zafiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 37th minute, Avram Dănănae fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 42nd minute, Mihai Ţipirig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dos Hermanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience was convinced that Mihai Ţipirig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bobby Ares was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avram Dănănae was the one to do the kick off. After 55th play minutes Avram Dănănae shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Șerban Baran and just under the crossbar into goal. Avram Dănănae struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Șerban Baran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Zafiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Șerban Baran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Șerban Baran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigi Vermeşan's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Rapid București players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
