Jidvei Regal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduard Ciucă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horea Ogășanu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Caraseu's Costin Braica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mădălin Oblemenco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Jidvei Regal's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Braica came free, but Mădălin Oblemenco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Teofil during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Teofil kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Stelian Costeiantu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. In the 41st match minute, Jidvei Regal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Costeiantu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jidvei Regal's zone, Manole Oțeteleșanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mădălin Oblemenco came out of the goal and Manole Oțeteleșanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jidvei Regal's Eduard Ciucă got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Manole Oțeteleșanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mădălin Oblemenco skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After a rather tough play, Caraseu's Virgil Sorin got a free kick in the 50th minute. Stelian Costeiantu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Emanuel Drâmbă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mădălin Oblemenco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Godeanu in the 56th minute of play. Radu Tonegaru's late challenge caught a Jidvei Regal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radu Tonegaru helped the player get up and apologised. Radu Tonegaru hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Caraseu's Emanuel Drâmbă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Ciucă in the 59th minute of play. After 63 played minutes Jidvei Regal got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Frunză. Mădălin Oblemenco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Manole Oțeteleșanu. Jidvei Regal's Mădălin Oblemenco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Focșa in the 65th minute of play. Emanuel Drâmbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Costeiantu in the 76th minute of the match. Jidvei Regal's Stelian Costeiantu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Stelian Costeiantu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Drâmbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Ciucă in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Caraseu booed when Jidvei Regal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Frunză didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costin Braica in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mădălin Oblemenco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emanuel Drâmbă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduard Ciucă's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jidvei Regal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caraseu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
