Lucrețiu Augustin came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Ioan Puiu. But to his dismay, Ioan Puiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Olimpiu Cozmâncă got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Nuntasi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Zbârlea came free, but Lucrețiu Augustin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Cozmâncă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucrețiu Augustin. Nuntasi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Cozmâncă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lucrețiu Augustin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Bocu in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Olimpiu Cozmâncă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucrețiu Augustin was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Nuntasi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Bocu came free, but Lucrețiu Augustin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Augustin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Cozmâncă, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Cozmâncă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucrețiu Augustin. Nuntasi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Cozmâncă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 41 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Cozmâncă notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Nuntasi AFC's Lucrețiu Augustin. Lucrețiu Augustin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute Manuel Zbârlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucrețiu Augustin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Zbârlea was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's zone, Marius Stăniloaie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosmin Amitroaiei came out of the goal and Marius Stăniloaie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC.Ripensia-Timisoara getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Victor Bocu hit a great ball. The supporters of FC.Ripensia-Timisoara booed when Nuntasi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Grindeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nuntasi AFC's Ion Grindeanu got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Nuntasi AFC's Marius Stăniloaie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosmin Amitroaiei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Cosmin Amitroaiei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Beșleaga in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, FC.Ripensia-Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Cozmâncă to maneuver through the defense. Cosmin Amitroaiei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Beșleaga in the 68th minute of the match. Ioan Puiu charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ioan Puiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, FC.Ripensia-Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Puiu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Marius Stăniloaie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nuntasi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Stăniloaie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horia Beșleaga scored 1-5 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosmin Amitroaiei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marius Stăniloaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cosmin Amitroaiei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Horia Beșleaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmin Amitroaiei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match Nuntasi AFC got a corner. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iordache Rădoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Iordache Rădoi made a great header on Nuntasi AFC's corner, it was just that FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Cosmin Amitroaiei managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Nuntasi AFC's Alin Martinescu got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Olimpiu Cozmâncă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Rădoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosmin Amitroaiei having to make a save. Iordache Rădoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cosmin Amitroaiei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 94th minute of the match Olimpiu Cozmâncă completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Olimpiu Cozmâncă a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th minute, Olimpiu Cozmâncă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara played a much better game than Nuntasi AFC and deserved their victory. The Nuntasi AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
