Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Liviu Capșuneanu got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Drăgănoiu got free with Iacob Uncuţă in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Vintilă Mantu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dorneni's Cazimir Costandache got a free kick in the 9th minute. Liviu Capșuneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Costin Dobrițoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Dorneni got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Cartianu. In the 20th minute, Gigi Bilașco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Tudor Enescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dorneni's Costin Dobrițoiu didn't even have to move. 24 minutes into the match, Liviu Capșuneanu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dorneni's Costin Dobrițoiu. Costin Dobrițoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iacob Uncuţă made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Claudiu Drăgănoiu sent off a good shot on target. Claudiu Drăgănoius short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Iacob Uncuţă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute Mihăiţă Mititelu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Uncuţă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Liviu Capșuneanu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dorneni's Costin Dobrițoiu. Costin Dobrițoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the game, Vintilă Mantu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Costin Dobrițoiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudiu Drăgănoiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Iacob Uncuţă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Vintilă Mantu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apateul FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After the first half Apateul FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Capșuneanu in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Dobrițoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th match minute, Apateul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Niezywy to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Apateul FC's Vintilă Mantu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costin Dobrițoiu. That made the score 1-6 after 70 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the match, Dorneni's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Jușcă came free, but Costin Dobrițoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Liviu Capșuneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Dobrițoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costin Dobrițoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Capșuneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Costin Dobrițoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Vişan in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Apateul FC's Liviu Capșuneanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Costin Dobrițoiu. Costin Dobrițoiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Apateul FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
