Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Frasin CSM's Filip Tender started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Basarab Drăgoi came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FC RamonRaul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basarab Drăgoi couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Eduard Cârstea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 10 minutes, Doru Muslea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frasin CSM and the FC RamonRaul players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Frasin CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Muslea to maneuver through the defense. Basarab Drăgoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Levința having to interfere. Filip Tender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Prodan having to interfere. Remus Prodan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Tender in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costin Lobonț during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Frasin CSM got a freekick which was hit by Doru Muslea. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Basarab Drăgoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC RamonRaul's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Drăgoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Levința breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugur Verzeanu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Remus Prodan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Tender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Prodan came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Frasin CSM's Eduard Cârstea. But to his dismay, Eduard Cârstea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Iacob Levința made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Denis Nicolae sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Mugurel Vasilian from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Iacob Levința's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Nicolae to make the kick off. Remus Prodan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Tender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Cârstea got free with Remus Prodan in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, FC RamonRaul's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Tender came free, but Remus Prodan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC RamonRaul booed when Frasin CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Arsene didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonard Pârlog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Eduard Cârstea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frasin CSM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Eduard Cârstea might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Prodan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduard Cârstea ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute Eduard Cârstea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Prodan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC RamonRaul's zone, Filip Tender stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Prodan came out of the goal and Filip Tender tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute of the match Iacob Pătrășcanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iacob Levința skillfully saved the ball. Eduard Cârstea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Prodan having to interfere. Filip Tender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Prodan having to interfere. The FC RamonRaul supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Frasin CSM's performance. The match ended with a win for Frasin CSM.
