Tiberiu Huștea hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Narcis Dragalina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iacob Uncuţă was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Iacob Uncuţă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Dragalina in the 7th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Narcis Dragalina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apateul FC's Iacob Uncuţă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apateul FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gheorghe Şerbănoiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 16th minute Narcis Dragalina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Uncuţă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Simared -MM-'s Narcis Dragalina made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iacob Uncuţă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narcis Dragalina in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iacob Uncuţă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Narcis Dragalina made a precise shot to the right of Iacob Uncuţă. Apateul FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 29 minutes into the game, Simared -MM-'s Narcis Dragalina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iacob Uncuţă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 32 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Şerbănoiu notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Apateul FC's Iacob Uncuţă. Iacob Uncuţă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Liviu Capșuneanu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Narcis Dragalina made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Apateul FC's Iacob Uncuţă tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Narcis Dragalina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simared -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Dragalina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Uncuţă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Simared -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Simared -MM-'s Narcis Dragalina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 45 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Huștea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Iacob Uncuţă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Capșuneanu made a kick off. Simared -MM- were furious when Ivan Stolniceanu was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 51 minutes into the game, one of Simared -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ernest Cazimir had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Tudor Enescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Iacob Uncuţă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Miron in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Apateul FC's goalkeeper Iacob Uncuţă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Huștea. Gheorghe Şerbănoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Apateul FC's Iacob Uncuţă got control of the ball when Silviu Miron tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iacob Uncuţă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Şerbănoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Simared -MM-'s Gheorghe Şerbănoiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. If Tiberiu Huștea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gheorghe Şerbănoiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iacob Uncuţă. That made the score 0-11 in the 82 minute of play. Simared -MM- made a substitution. Eric Arghirescu replaced Silviu Miron. Simared -MM-'s Ernest Cazimir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Mantu in the 88th minute of play. Cazimir Curteanu took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iacob Uncuţă. Iacob Uncuţă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. If Gheorghe Şerbănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Apateul FC's Ryszard Niezywy got a free kick in the 95th minute. Eric Arghirescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Iacob Uncuţă made a huge save. Simared -MM-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
