An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Romaşcanu in the 4th minute of play forced FC RamonRaul's goalkeeper Remus Prodan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eugen Remus fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arpadia's protests and gave Eugen Remus a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Leonard Pârlog got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Olimpiu Romaşcanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Prodan having to interfere. David Gioagă kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. FC RamonRaul's Leonard Pârlog got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Olimpiu Romaşcanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arpadia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Arpadia's zone, Basarab Drăgoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Bojin came out of the goal and Basarab Drăgoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Gioagă charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Gioagă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Arpadia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Gioagă to maneuver through the defense. Toader Focșa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Prodan having to interfere. Denis Nicolae succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 41st playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toader Focșa made a kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC RamonRaul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ionuț Racoviță was slow to take the kick. During this time Arpadia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Arpadia's Ionuț Racoviță to fire away a dangerous shot which Remus Prodan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Toader Focșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iacob Pătrășcanu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Basarab Drăgoi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Moise Bojin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC RamonRaul. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Nicolae in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moise Bojin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mugur Verzeanu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dinu Ciprian hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Toader Focșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toader Focșa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Remus Prodan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arpadia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Moise Bojin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Drăgoi in the 89th minute of play. If Moise Hortopan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arpadia's zone, Basarab Drăgoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Bojin came out of the goal and Basarab Drăgoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Pârlog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC RamonRaul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
