Ciprian Mârza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Zbârlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Târcă kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciprian Mârza. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. If Manuel Zbârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Hackers Team's goalkeeper Ciprian Mârza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Zbârlea. Olimpiu Cozmâncă might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciprian Mârza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olimpiu Cozmâncă ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandru Neculuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ciprian Mârza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Târcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Mârza having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Manuel Zbârlea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ciprian Mârza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vlad Cămărășan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mihnea Ianculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Neculuță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciprian Mârza having to make a save. After some careless play in the Hackers Team defense, Manuel Zbârlea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciprian Mârza. The Hackers Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciprian Mârza should have stopped the shot. Hackers Team's Ciprian Mârza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Cozmâncă in the 28th minute of play. Victor Târcă took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciprian Mârza. Ciprian Mârza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. When Olimpiu Cozmâncă came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FC.Ripensia-Timisoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Cozmâncă couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Hackers Team defense, Manuel Zbârlea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciprian Mârza. The Hackers Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciprian Mârza should have stopped the shot. Ciprian Mârza was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Victor Târcă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Târcă really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Ciprian Mârza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Zbârlea went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Dinu Herescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciprian Mârza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinu Herescu ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 63 minutes, Manuel Zbârlea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Zbârlea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Hackers Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iurie Poplăcean took the corner. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Iurie Poplăcean was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciprian Mârza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Victor Târcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Mârza having to interfere. In the 74th minute Olimpiu Cozmâncă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Mârza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Căliman's late challenge caught a FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Căliman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hackers Team's Emanuel Căliman got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Manuel Zbârlea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciprian Mârza was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Iurie Poplăcean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ciprian Mârza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hackers Team's zone, Olimpiu Cozmâncă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Mârza came out of the goal and Olimpiu Cozmâncă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Zbârlea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basarab Hobjilă scored 10-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciprian Mârza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
