Spectators: 7724 (Terracing: 5794, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Zbârlea started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Manuel Zbârlea made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Apateul FC's Iacob Uncuţă tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes into the game, FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Manuel Zbârlea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iacob Uncuţă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Răzvan Jușcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olimpiu Cozmâncă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iacob Uncuţă came out and tried to block the shot, but Olimpiu Cozmâncă slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 16th minute. Manuel Zbârlea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Apateul FC's goalkeeper Iacob Uncuţă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Târcă. In the 22nd match minute, Apateul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Mantu to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Iacob Uncuţă threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olimpiu Cozmâncă, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 31st minute of the match, Manuel Zbârlea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iacob Uncuţă was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32ndth minute of the game Olimpiu Cozmâncă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apateul FC's Iacob Uncuţă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 played minutes FC.Ripensia-Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Neculuță. Iacob Uncuţă made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Manuel Zbârlea sent off a good shot on target. FC.Ripensia-Timisoara's Mihnea Ianculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Capșuneanu in the 42nd minute of play. Iacob Uncuţă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Cozmâncă in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute Olimpiu Cozmâncă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Uncuţă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Uncuţă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Tudose, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Iacob Uncuţă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Cozmâncă went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liviu Capșuneanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Iacob Uncuţă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Zbârlea in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Alexandru Neculuță notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Apateul FC's Iacob Uncuţă. Iacob Uncuţă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FC.Ripensia-Timisoara getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Apateul FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The supporters of FC.Ripensia-Timisoara booed when Apateul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Capșuneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Zbârlea in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iacob Uncuţă saved Apateul FC from getting behind. Horea Vişan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Mihnea Ianculescu made a huge save. In the 76th minute Olimpiu Cozmâncă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Uncuţă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihnea Ianculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vintilă Mantu in the 77th minute. Victor Târcă scored 8-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iacob Uncuţă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vali Remus kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
