Spectators: 7777 (Terracing: 5833, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) Laurențiu Călimanescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Doru Spiru struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Costin Gheorghiță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Podenii. After 6 minutes, Valentin Spirache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -PSC- CFR Pascani and the Podenii players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, -PSC- CFR Pascani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Alucusan to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Gigi Barbăneagră fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 11 minutes into the match, -PSC- CFR Pascani's goalkeeper Costin Gheorghiță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doru Spiru. Valentin Spirache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ion Gogu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Eliodor Zăgănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Gogu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the -PSC- CFR Pascani defense, Niccolo Ciobica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costin Gheorghiță. The -PSC- CFR Pascani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costin Gheorghiță should have stopped the shot. Valentin Spirache kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. -PSC- CFR Pascani's Valentin Spirache got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Gigi Barbăneagră had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costin Gheorghiță. -PSC- CFR Pascani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Barbăneagră was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 29th minute, Andrei Grozuță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ion Gogu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Călimanescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Niccolo Ciobica came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Podenii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niccolo Ciobica couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Podenii's Andrei Grozuță slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costin Gheorghiță. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. If Gigi Barbăneagră had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Costin Gheorghiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Barbăneagră in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Niccolo Ciobica made the kick off in the second half. Ion Gogu made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Eliodor Zăgănescu sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes into the match, Gigi Barbăneagră had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costin Gheorghiță. -PSC- CFR Pascani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Barbăneagră was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Podenii's Ion Gogu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Podenii from getting a goal against them. When Virgil Panaitoiu fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Podenii's protests and gave Virgil Panaitoiu a yellow card for diving instead. Virgil Panaitoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Octavian Paulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to -PSC- CFR Pascani getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Valentin Spirache hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Niccolo Ciobica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costin Gheorghiță was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 73rd minute of the match, Eliodor Zăgănescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ion Gogu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Niccolo Ciobica came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Podenii fans jumped to their feet. Ionică Culiță charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionică Culiță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes -PSC- CFR Pascani got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Culiță. Costin Gheorghiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niccolo Ciobica in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Podenii booed when -PSC- CFR Pascani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Alucusan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Ovidiu Dragalina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podenii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidiu Dragalina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costin Gheorghiță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niccolo Ciobica, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 89 minutes of play, Podenii's Niccolo Ciobica made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costin Gheorghiță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costin Gheorghiță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Grozuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
