Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when George Mârza made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute George Mârza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Dăscălescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Mârza struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Codrin Dăscălescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niscov AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Aluculesei in the 8th minute of play forced Niscov AFC's goalkeeper Mugurel Urdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Victor Lupoaia came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Inginerul Baia Mare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Lupoaia couldn't finish the play. Iacob Aluculesei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Mugurel Urdoi made a huge save. Codrin Dăscălescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Mârza in the 13th minute of play. If Călin Greavu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Niscov AFC booed when Inginerul Baia Mare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Cimpoieru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Vintilă Aluculesei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Urdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Aluculesei in the 23rd minute of play forced Niscov AFC's goalkeeper Mugurel Urdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Călin Greavu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Codrin Dăscălescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Niscov AFC's goalkeeper Mugurel Urdoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iacob Aluculesei. With a little luck, Niscov AFC's Mugurel Urdoi got control of the ball when Iacob Aluculesei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iacob Aluculesei did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Mugurel Urdoi 30 minutes into the match. Codrin Dăscălescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Mârza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vintilă Aluculesei in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugurel Urdoi saved Niscov AFC from getting behind. When Cosmin Logofătu came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Niscov AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmin Logofătu couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vintilă Aluculesei to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Inginerul Baia Mare FC's goalkeeper Codrin Dăscălescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Călin Greavu. After 57 played minutes Inginerul Baia Mare FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Butnaru. In the 63rd minute, George Mârza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iacob Aluculesei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mugurel Urdoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vintilă Aluculesei took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mugurel Urdoi. Mugurel Urdoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Codrin Dăscălescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Greavu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, George Mârza notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Inginerul Baia Mare FC's Codrin Dăscălescu. Codrin Dăscălescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niscov AFC's Călin Greavu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Niscov AFC's Cosmin Logofătu tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. George Mârza might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Codrin Dăscălescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Mârza ran back to his position shaking his head. Many of Niscov AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Niscov AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Inginerul Baia Mare FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
